BARKHAD ADBI IS A BILLBOARD REPAIRMAN IN DUBAI FANTISIZING ABOUT THE PRODUCTS "BENEATH A SEA OF LIGHTS" (2020)

 

Filmed entirely on location in Dubai, Adbi plays a billboard repairman who fantasizes about the various products displayed - an interesting premise to say the least. While this is happening, he also develops a friendship with an undesirable roommate who eventually talks him into becoming a thief. 

This one took me by surprise, in a good way. It's an effective crime drama on a low budget with a good pair of leading actors. Very nicely shot, it's got chase scenes, robberies, a fight scene and a pretty cool ending. B-Movie Gazette is back and says check this one out, especially recommend for nighttime viewing, now streaming on Tubi, Plex, Roku and Prime membership.  2.75 stars/2.75
